For years on the cape flats we have been suffering under a pandemic. A pandemic of death, rape, gender base violence and sexual abuse. This pandemic has increased daily and has now officially became something known as a “silent war”. We living in communities where your death seems closer than your future. We witness what childhood trauma is doing to the future generation. A gangster, no education, pregnant, sex worker, raped or most likely dead. These are the harsh truths we are faced with today.

“Breaking The Silence” Campaign is a community of people that is using their stories to educate and empower survivors by sharing their stories and making a difference in homes, schools and communities. To break boundaries and to make noise on this “silent war”. In order to proceed with our vision, we need to raise funds. Our vison is to open a safe house, but we need your help.
