Peace Takes All of Us. Brian Has Seen the Hope Firsthand!

As we celebrate 30 years of PeaceJam, we’re lifting up the many voices that have fueled this movement. One of them is Brian Kelly of The Points Guy, whose support has helped amplify PeaceJam’s impact around the world.

For nearly a decade, Brian has traveled with PeaceJam, from Central America to Africa, witnessing firsthand how youth around the world are rising to meet the challenges of their communities. Near the holidays, when many of us are reflecting on where we’ve been and where we’re going, his perspective feels especially powerful.

When asked to describe PeaceJam, Brian put it simply:

“Hope. That's what it gives me. Things are actually going to be okay because the young people today, if we listen to them and activate them, I just know anything's possible.”

And Brian has watched this impact unfold in real time:

His team members returned from this year’s conference calling it life-changing.
The affiliates he’s supported—including Ghana, South Africa, Guatemala, and Liberia—have all expanded their reach and strengthened their leadership as a result.

And for Brian, the impact isn’t one-sided. He often says that supporting PeaceJam doesn’t just uplift young leaders—it strengthens his own company. Doing good in the world is good for humanity, and it’s also good for business.
