In Celebration of International Day of Peace: The Documentary on the Life of Adolfo Perez Esquivel will be FREE on Google Play!

Mark your calendar! International Day of Peace is Monday, September 21In celebration of this PeaceJam’s Nobel Film Series documentary, “Rivers of Hope,” the story of an activist of unparalleled determination, 1980 Nobel Peace Laureate, Adolfo Perez Esquivel, of Argentina, will be available at no cost on Google Play from September 17th to September 22nd, 2015.

The film educates and enlightens, while sparking dialogue over one of the most important events in Latin America, the “Dirty War.” For those of you who don’t know the story of the human-rights movement in Latin America, this documents a terrible time, but one that we can learn from and that no nation can afford to forget. The respective directors and producer’s of this film Ivan Suvanjieff and Dawn Eagle tell this story of this inspirational man, Adolfo Perez in a beautiful and deeply emotional way.

The film was previewed earlier in the year at the Monte Carlo Film Festival and has been extremely well received, but we would love to hear what you think!

Share with your friends leading up to #PeaceDay, and join us in helping to build awareness for compassion, and human rights.
