Wrapping the World in Peace

Guest Post by Periscope: Project Peace Paper

Every year has its ups and downs, but everyone can acknowledge that 2016 has been a tough one. From political tension to violence and negativity around the world, everyone could use a bit more peace.

That’s why we created Peace Paper and partnered with the PeaceJam FoundationAll proceeds from gift wrap sales will go toward PeaceJam’s Billion Acts campaign, inspiring 1 billion acts of peace by 2019.

This unique wrapping paper started by asking our community, “What does peace mean to you?” People shared their expressions of peace through drawings, which Periscope then turned into rolls of beautiful paper.

CARAVANE PALACE – MIDNIGHT from Julien + Adrien on Vimeo.

The response has been astounding and heartwarming, with large turnouts at various Peace Paper-making events, and through social submissions via #ProjectPeacePaper on Twitter and Instagram. (Psst – you can submit your own drawing of what peace means to you this way! We’d love to see it!)

So if you’re looking for a great gift, or great gift wrap, you can purchase Peace Paper at projectpeacepaper.com. We’re proud to be a part of the Billion Acts Campaign – now go forth and spread some holiday cheer…and peace!
